Today after a lazy Friday morning I did some gouache sketchbook studies and even had a go at @ruthwilshaw\u2019s gouache landscape challenge and paint my version of the landscape photography she posted. I really enjoyed painting this piece in my sketchbook as it was stressful free focusing on the strokes and the shades rather than details.
This painting has moody storm brewing afternoon feel to it. I tired to put a little detail in and try the long grass strokes after doing this painting I realise I could of used finer brush to the create the long grass and have it look more like they are blowing in the stormy breeze.<\/p>
